Creed

1. THE BIBLE :

We believe that the Bible, as a whole, is the Word of God; that the sixty-six books, as originally written, including the Old and the New Testament, were verbally inspired by the Spirit of God and are completely free from error; that the Bible is the supreme authority in matters of faith and practice and that it is the true basis for Christian unity.

2 Ti 3 : 16; 2 Pe 1 : 21; 2 Sa 23 : 2; Ac 1 : 16; Ac 3 : 21; Jn 10 : 35; Lk 16 : 29 – 31; Ps 119 : 111;  Ro  3  : 1 – 2; Pr 30 : 5 – 6; Rev 22 : 18; Jn 12 : 47 – 48.

2. GOD :

We believe in one God, Creator and Source of all things, Holy, Sovereign, Eternal, existing and revealing Himself in Three equal persons : the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

1 Jn 3 : 23 – 24; Ps 147 : 5; Ps 83 : 19; Ex 15 : 11; Mk 12 : 30; Rev 4 : 11; Mt 28 : 19; 2 Co 13 : 13; Isa 41 : 4.

3. CHRIST :

We believe in the full divinity of Jesus Christ by His very nature, in His eternal existence with the Father before His incarnation, in His miraculous birth of a virgin, His sinless life, His expiatory death, His bodily resurrection, His triumphant ascension, His ministry as mediator and His personal return.

Jn 1 : 1 – 5; Ro 9 : 5; Jn 14 : 23; Jn 17 : 5; Eph 1 : 20; Php 2 : 5 – 11; Rev 19 : 11 – 16; Rev  5 : 9 – 14.

4. THE HOLY SPIRIT :

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a fully divine person by His very nature and that He convinces about sin, justice and judgment; He regenerates, sanctifies, inspires, directs and comforts those who believe in Jesus Christ.

Jn 15 : 26; Eph 2 : 18; Jn 16 : 7 – 14; 2 Co 3 : 17; Ro 8 : 9; Ro 8 : 14 – 15; Ro 8 : 26 – 27; 1 Co 12 : 3 –   11; Ac 2 : 1 – 4; Ac 8 : 29.

5. SATAN :

We believe that Satan is an evil spirit, personified as a wicked being, that he is the origin of sin, the supreme enemy of God and of man.

Mk 1 : 13; Ge 3 : 6 – 24; 1 Pe 5 : 8; Rev 20 : 7 – 10; Isa 14 : 11 – 12; Eze 28 : 16 – 17.
