This weekend the Bethel Church had the honor to receive a delegation of the partner church from Germany. For years the Bethel Church has a partnership with it the Evangelisch-Freikirchliche Gemeinde (Baptisten) uit Mainz.

Ever year the churches exchange visits. One year the Bethel Church goes to Mainz, the other year Mainz comes to Lombardsijde. It’s save to say that it can be called a family visit and its always exciting to have them here with us.

This weekend was filled with a trip to Brugge and an exchange of updates about what’s going in on the locale churches. The Evangelisch-Freikirchliche gemeinde from Mainz has always been a great support for the Bethel Church in Lombardsijde and it has been a pleasure to know what is going on in their church.

Andreas Ulner, pastor at the church in Mainz, has shared the word during our sunday morning service in Lombardsijde. And the people of Mainz have have honored us with a nice choir song.

We hope to see our brothers and sisters soon again.
